ABOUT
I was completely caught off guard by how much I enjoy consulting. It has been thrilling to help non-profits fulfill their missions, spread the word about awesome events, develop content for a wide variety of businesses, and help others to solidify their branding. While it's been fascinating to assist others, doing this work has also helped me to sharpen many of my skills.

Prior to launching my own consultancy, I enjoyed the great pleasure of a varied, exciting, 25+ year career. It's included marketing and communications work at various organizations; running a non-profit that transformed a traditional Main Street business district into a bustling shopping and dining destination; creating, revitalizing, and marketing events that attracted over 1 million people in one year; and navigating the digital tidal wave to create successful social media channels with incredible reach.
Some of the successes I’m most proud of?
When the whole world was caught off guard by a global pandemic, I quickly worked with my clients to pivot events to virtual experiences which connected with existing and new audiences and extended sponsor reach and impressions. I also worked with small, independent businesses to help them successfully and creatively market a whole new approach to getting their product in the public's hands and bellies.
In the last two years, I've written 40+ grant proposals for non-profit organizations, with a high degree of successful awards. For one client, we exceeded their annual fundraising goal by 100%, in just six months - this was during the second year I worked with them. During the height of the pandemic, I assisted another non-profit with raising more than half a million dollars, allowing them to expand their services when they were most needed.
I was part of a small team that created and marketed Picklesburgh, a 3-day event, attended annually by 300,000 people. Picklesburgh was twice voted Best Specialty Food Festival in the country by readers of USA Today.
Spearheaded the development of a collaborative, multi-faceted, Emmy Award-winning pedestrian safety marketing and awareness campaign.
Successfully pitched and landed national and international media coverage for a variety of projects including ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s The Today Show, CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, USA Today, The Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, PBS, and regional television coverage in 50+ markets.
Grew digital reach for an economic development organization by over 150% in three-years-time, making the organization the go-to source for hundreds of thousands.
What do I like to do when I’m not planning world marketing domination?
I live in the City of Pittsburgh and bleed black and gold – I love my town and really enjoy exploring it, with my husband Tim. I am passionate about art (especially all things Frida) and I thrive on creating pieces of art, jewelry, and clothing for friends and loved ones. I'm a Jeopardy fanatic and hope to someday compete. I also really appreciate cooking and baking, collecting an embarrassing amount of vinyl, and trying to be the person my chihuahua, El Vez, thinks I am.
